The PCAN-Explorer 6 portable license was a seamless use of the Windows software across multiple computers without the need for separate installations or reactivations and no machine-lock restrictions. Using a USB dongle, you can enjoy enhanced mobility, flexibility, cost-efficiency, and security.

PCAN-Explorer 6 developed by PEAK-System Technik provides a professional Windows application to users working with CAN and CAN FD networks that goes far beyond simple observation of the CAN traffic. It can connect to several CAN and/or CAN FD field buses at the same time. Unlike previous versions, the hardware type of used CAN adapters is no longer a limiting factor.

How will I receive the portable version of PCAN-Explorer 6?

You will receive a USB copy protection dongle for each purchased license in addition to the software installation files on a USB drive. This allows for the installation of PCAN-Explorer 6 on multiple computers. To use the software, simply plug the copy protection dongle into a free USB port. (Note: lead time to ship the portable version is one business day.)

Which PEAK PCAN products is PCAN-Explorer 6 compatible with?

Macros enable the implementation of special application requirements and automation of complex processes. The sophisticated implementation of VBScript accesses the extensive object model of PCAN-Explorer 6.

One of the main features of PCAN-Explorer 6 is the symbolic representation of the CAN messages and their payload. With the help of symbol files, the hexadecimal information from the raw CAN/CANFD frame is transformed into an easily readable format.
